San Damiano Wood Crucifix

The Saint Damiano icon cross was painted to teach the meaning of Christ's saving death and Resurrection. This icon, like all others, is a "window to heaven" which helps us encounter, by grace, our God who loves us unconditionally and who calls each of us to build up His Body on earth.
